What would a river say if it could speak? What wisdom might the trees, birds, fish, insects, or stones share if they had a seat at the table?
Join Friends of the River Medway and Letters to the Earth for a playful, creative, and thought-provoking gathering inspired by the Council of All Beings - an imaginative experience where we step into the shoes (or feathers, fins, roots, or wings!) of the more-than-human world.
✨ Come dressed as your favourite being: a river creature, plant, bird, mushroom, cloud, fox, dragonfly, or any living (or once-living) part of nature that inspires you. Costumes are warmly encouraged!
Guided by the amazing @rebeccaisrainbow, we will:
• Co-create a Council of All Beings, giving voice to nature in response to the theme: “The Future of the River”
• Write letters to and from the River Medway with @letterstotheearth
