About the event

Age Range: 18 - 25

Join the award-winning Letters to the Earth campaign team to explore the climate and ecological emergency and what it means to you. What does the future look and feel like? What changes can we make? And what does the Earth have to say about it all?

Following an open conversation with guest artist-activists Zena Edwards about their work, you’ll have the opportunity to explore your own responses to the crisis through creative writing and spoken word.

In this participatory workshop we’ll explore the perspectives of both the human and the non-human. A letter to the Earth can be to – or from – anything on this planet: the earth, another species, a particular place, the future, a person in a position of power. What’s important to you?

Following the workshop you will have the opportunity to perform your work to an invited audience.

Part of The Last Word Festival.
