About the event
Join us for a unique reading of Letters from around the world featuring special guest performers, leaders and activists. Followed by the opportunity to write and share your own Letter to the Earth.
Letters to the Earth is a global participatory campaign in response to the planetary crisis. Since its launch in 2019, the public have been invited to put pen to paper and write a Letter to or from the Earth, other species, people in positions of power, or future or past generations.
At this special event at COP26, in Glasgow, we ask you:
What World Are You Dreaming of?
When the future feels so uncertain, how can we move forwards with vision and with courage? And with care?
Writing a Letter is an opportunity to bring all your fears, your frustrations and your love, to process what is happening to the world and to create something new.
Special Guest Performers to be announced.
This event is in partnership with Walk & Bromwich as part of The Encampment of Eternal Hope, which has been supported by Climate House, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, players of People's Postcode Lottery and SEFARI Gateway.
